Taras Kremin, State Language Protection Commissioner of Ukraine.

Taras Kremin has served as Ukraine’s Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language since 2020, playing a critical role in defending linguistic rights, promoting Ukrainian as the official language, and countering disinformation and cultural erasure in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine.

As a former Member of Parliament and educator, his experience bridges language policy, education reform, and national resilience.
