At European Relations, we welcome submissions from students, researchers, and professionals who are eager to share their insights on European affairs. Our submission process is designed to ensure that all contributions meet our editorial standards while remaining accessible to a wide audience.
Who Can Submit?
To submit an academic paper, authors must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in a university (minimum 3rd semester undergraduate) or hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree.
- Ensure that their submission aligns with our submission guidelines.
- Accept our terms and conditions, which outline ownership, editorial rights, and ethical considerations.
How to Submit
- All submissions must be sent via our online submission form.
- Authors should select the Academic format upload.
- A short bio (max 50 words) should also be included with the submission. Authors may optionally provide a photo of themselves to be featured alongside their bio on their author profile.
- Submissions should be in English, French or German (other European languages may be considered).
- Authors must choose a category under which they want their work to be published
(e.g., economic policy, transatlantic relations). Additionally, they can provide up to five tags to enhance searchability and improve visibility. These tags will be featured alongside the publication, making it easier for readers to find relevant content. - Authors must select the type of submission, such as Academic Paper, Thesis, Policy Brief, Analysis, Dissertation, or Term Paper.
What to include in the form
Each submission must include:
- The title of the work
- An abstract (maximum 300 words)
- Any supplementary information the author wishes to provide
- The document in PDF format
Authors can also enable copy and download protection on their PDF file, as well as choose to display an optional watermark for added security and attribution.
Once submitted, the editorial team will review the piece and provide feedback within timeframe of 7 to 14 days.
